Pahalgam is known for its natural beauty and great weather. It has a rolling meadows and idyllic picnic spots. Sonamarg or the Meadow of Gold is situated on Srinagar-Ladakh Road. It offers some stunning views of the Harmukh mountains and Sindh river. Thajiwas glacier is a big attraction during summer months.
