Application of cold or ice packs is effective for recovering from pain. You should use salves, ointments, mouth rinses or pain medications as per the advice of your surgeon. Use a thermometer for detecting fever. You may experience high fever, shifting of implant, sudden puffiness, pus or milky discharge, prolonged and severe bleeding, abnormal pain, etc., after the implant.
