Another place of interest is the Universal Studios, where tourists can visit movie sets, watch 3-D and 4-D shows, and enjoy the ‘special effects stage’. One of the favorite destinations of LA is Disneyland where families can spend a fun day surrounded by Disney characters and enjoy different rides, shows and dining options. Grauman’s Chinese Theater draws millions of tourists who come to see the hand/footprints of celebrities like Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington. The Santa Monica State Beach is about two miles long and offers opportunity to play volleyball, bike ride, or simply relax on the sand. Some other popular Los Angeles beaches include, Leo Carrillo State Park Beach, Cabrillo Beach, Point Dume State Beach and Hermosa Beach.

Getty Center building has beautiful architecture and many people visit to enjoy the building as well as the exhibits. The California Science Center is one of the best science museums of the country. It has many interactive and hands-on exhibits on inventions like communication and transportation, which are appealing to both children and adults. The Page museum at La Brea Tar Pits has some of the world’s best fossils of Ice Age. Visitors can view fossils of mammoths, dire wolf, saber-toothed cats, giant sloths, etc.
